of General Membership Meeting The annual general membership meeting of the Biloxi Yacht Club will be held on Sunday, September 18, 1999 at 3:00pm in the club dining room. As provided by the constitution, only senior voting, life and associate members in good standing are eligible to participate in the meeting. If a senior voting or life long member is absent from the meeting, his or her spouse may attend the meeting and vote in lieu of the member. The agenda of the meeting is provided in Article VII of the constitution and includes election of Flag Officers and Governing Board Members. All eligible members are encouraged to attend. Jr. Lipton's Team On August 7th
& 8th, some of our juniors participated in
the Jr. Lipton's in Pass Christian. The
team was lead by Skipper Tim Andrews who sailed the first
race on Saturday with a crew of Corey Fortier &
Lauren Byrd and placed 11th. Lauren Byrd skippered the second race on Saturday with Tim Andrews and

Are You Ready for Some Football?
If you're a true fan, you don't have to be reminded that Monday Night Football kicks off September 13th. And as always the BYC will do Monday Night Football as only the BYC can. Dinner will be served from 6pm 'til 8pm. Don't forget about the chef sign up board. Sign up and treat your fellow fans to some of your own gourmet treats.

placed 10th. Skipper Sean Beatty sailed on
Sunday with a crew of Corey Fortier and Nichole Ederer
and placed 12th. The winds were light to
medium on Saturday and Sunday winds were heavy with added
thunder and lightening squalls. The race committee chose
to call the race and finish the races in their present
position. Thanks to all the children and the team. 
Also a big
thanks to Jamie Fortier, Jr. Commodore, who helped with
the boat and sails on Saturday. Thanks to Tim Andrews and
Kristophor Ederer who helped create, design, and make the
T-Shirts. All in all, we had fun and the juniors have
improved greatly in the past 3 years. We placed 11th
overall and hope to place in the top 5 next year.
