Highlights from the meeting of the Governing Board of the Biloxi Yacht Club, February 11, 1999

The GORC race committee is well under way with the planning for this race on April 9th, 10th and 11th. Scotty Scott has met with the representatives of the Leukemia Society for the Leukemia Cup to be held here on April 19th. Board Member Dixie Hollis, Jr. has resigned from the Board of Directors. Peter Aufdermorte, Jr. has been appointed to fill the vacancy on the Board. A new Chairman is needed for the Raft Up on Memorial Day weekend. The Beau Rivage casino is interested i leasing part of the club's pier. Motion by Holly Graham to table further discussion on this subject until a formal proposal is submitted for review. BYC will be open New Years Eve this year.
