From the Commodore Members: I would like to express my appreciation for electing me as Commodore for the ensuing year. I consider it an honor. I will strive to the best of my ability to produce results that will be for the betterment of Biloxi Yacht Club. The main goals of my year are to continue the work underway to improve club facilities. My next aim is to promote increased club activity. The achievement of these two goals is a basis from which to build a better club. The progress of any club is dependent upon the togetherness of all members. The final progress report, favorable or unfavorable, depends upon the efforts of all members. I intend to do my share. Will you do yours?
I would like to solicit the help of all dì members of the Biloxi
Finally, members, I wish to thank those responsible for the Sincerely Yours,
Jerry J. Ellis,

The Green Column It’s been a busy year and a productive one for us. The Grounds Committee would like to thank everyone again for their contributions of time, money, and materials throughout the year. The last serious work day for the year on the grounds has come and gone. We finished the year in December by putting in some sego palms and six more camellias. We’ve tried to tidy things and prepare for colder weather. So, until I see some green things peeping out, I am officially in hibernation.
