Our Guest speaker Cathy Blackburn of Main Interiors of Ocean Springs was a delightful person who educated us on washable fabrics for interior boats.  She suggested nylon, plastic or wood treatment, stainless steal screws & no mini blinds in the galley.  Curtains should be on plastic rods and nylon zippers on cushions.  For shower curtains-a grain vinyl or satin finish can be used.  Fitted sheets are great for V berths with pull strings or elastic.  Regular quilts with button fold and snap.  Accessories such as pillows can be fish or nautical prints.  You can customize with pillows for storage.
The next class for Bonsai Trees will be April 15th and 19th at the VFW at 7pm in Ocean Springs.  Call Barb Bailey for directions at ...

About 20 members & a few men guest enjoyed a shrimp salad & a dessert during the monthly meeting.  Next month we will have spoon jewelry by a local artist for our April meeting.  All members' wives & their guest are welcome.

GORC 

The Biloxi Yacht Club will host this years Gulf Ocean Racing Circuit, April 28^th, 29^th, & 30^th.  Members listed below will coordinate the regatta through various committees under the main GORC Regatta Committee.  If you would like to volunteer to help during the GORC please contact any of these members:

Once again, the Biloxi Yacht Club will have a Father's Day Lobster Night on Saturday, June 17^th. This has always been a huge success at the club and very tasty.  There will be two seating's for this dinner, 6pm and 8pm please be sure to make reservations for this event, it is important.
