BARTENDER

Bartender applicants must have basic knowledge of mixology and have prior experience with POS systems. We operate a combined mid-sized lounge and restaurant.  On some occasions you may work only with a cook, one waiter and yourself.  You will be expected to maintain the cleanliness of the facility and surrounding areas (deck, dining area, bar and Liquor storage room). Being a Member club, there will be the occasional extended schedule to accommodate club events, so flexibility is a plus. PART TIME POSIIONS AVAILABLE

This individual will be responsible to greet and serve the members at table. POOL LIFE GUARD

MAINTENANCE (BUILDING & GROUNDS)

It will be the duties of this individual to maintain the upkeep oF the facilities including mowing, trimming and grounds cleanliness.  Basic skills with plumbing, electrical and minor repairs required along with minor repairs to walls, baseboards, flooring and painting.  The BYC is searching for a "Jack of all Trades" looking for a Part Time second job.  POSITION CURRENTLY AVAILABLE

This involves the thorough cleaning and restocking of all restrooms, vacuuming or mopping of floors in all public areas, removal of trash in offices and public areas, the cleaning of windows, general dusting and polishing to keep the inside facilities in first class condition.  This is a ½ day position from Tuesday through Saturday.  POSITION CURRENTLY FILLED

KITCHEN / HOUSE STEWARD

Primary responsibility is to perform setup responsibilities for private and member functions, This includes the arranging of tables and chairs, assembly and breakdown of a dance floor and when required a buffet setup.  In addition, all carpet shampooing will be included throughout the facility on a bi-weekly timetable.  As needed, you will be scheduled to operate the kitchen dishwashing  facilities to clean and restock dishes, pots. pans and glassware. OFFICE ASSISTANT

The primary responsibility will be to input the day-to-day expenditures of the Members on to their individual accounts and to insure the correctness of daily and monthly inputs to assist the Office Manager / Bookkeeper with her reports.  Further daily responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:  assisting members with issues and questions, answering the club phone and directing calls, taking messages, recoding reservations, the ordering of needed office supplies and at all times present a very pleasant “First Contact” impression with members and quest of the club.  When requested, you will also assist the Bookkeeper, Club Management and Club Officers and Committee Chair persons with their needs.   Club General Manager with basic administrative duties as requested.  Your direct report would be to the.  POSITION CURRENTLY FILLED

FOOD AND BEVERAGE FLOOR SUPERVISOR

Our kitchen and bar service is 90% limited to Members and their guest.  This candidate shall be responsible for the daily / weekly scheduling, training and supervision of FOH staff to meet business demands on the entire property.  They should feel comfortable to fill in when needed and feel comfortable handling member issues if they arise. The ability to properly order and inventory (liquor, bar supplies, linen, etc.) is a plus.  Previous experience in a similar style operation, previous banquet Captain or floor supervisor is desirable.   The ability to conduct proper openings and closing duties is required.
